My Badminton History

Five years ago, my mother bought me my first badminton racquet. It was a WISH carbon 909 and I was very happy having it since it was very different from those other local racquets that I was able to borrow from my friends. During my first use of that racquet I was very amazed at its weight as well as its performance. It was then that I learned to love playing badminton. My friends also noticed my racquet and they too were also about it and even asked my permission to borrow it. I was happy to let them use it since I was also borrowing their racquets from them on occasion.

Having this racquet gave me an idea to pursue my badminton hobby. I am not into competitions, tournament. I just play badminton during my leisure time. I love to play it with my friends, family and relatives because not only does it enhance my badminton playing skill but also gives me a chance to have some bonding time with them. At first I had no idea about badminton rules, however as time passed by I was able to learn them.

After five years, the racquet is still alive. It is not the same as it was five years ago, but it is still intact and handled with care. The string has not changed, only the grip. The body is not damaged but it has some scratches already. I love having that badminton racquet because it was my inspiration to continue playing that game as long as I could. Thus, I will always treasure it as well as keep it safe forever. I hope my second racquet, which is a YONEX arc saber Z-slash, will also be acquired this year.

See you on my next post!:)
